Cut spending, free small businesses, but don't steal from the rich

I can't believe (I can't believe the openness) the rhetoric of the left on the issues of taxes and the "rich". They are openly spreading the screwy idea that we should take money from all those making $250,000 to give a small tax cut to the rest of the country. They push the idea that money is just sitting in big piles doing nothing and they want to take it and spread it around.

What they really want is to take as much money as they can to support their out of control spending. The amount they want to dole out to the middle class is insignificant in the grand scheme of things -- the rest will be used for failed government programs and all the bail-out and stimulous plans.

All this is going to do is change productive money into wasted money. We need to GROW wealth, not shrink wealth. Our economy needs to have entrepreneurs who are keeping what they earn to invest back in the economy and grow the economy. We'll grow our way out of the mess the government has created if government will loosen its control and quit wasting money.

One thing I agree with Obama on is his professed idea that small businesses need to be strengthened -- however, I believe his way of  "strengthening" will actually weaken. I hope he will remove all regulations which favor large corporations, end corporte welfare and allow small businesses to keep what they earn -- if he'll do that, then I will say I was wrong.
