    NE Pats -- 38

    NY Giants -- 17

I think it's going to be closer than people think.
    My prediction:

    Patriots 24
    Giants 21

I was thinking the same thing, I even flirted with the idea that NY might win, but then I looked at what NE has accomplished this year and I believe they are going to give it everything they have to end this thing in style -- and if they are playing full tilt, with what they have, it might be a blowout.

But, we'll see -- NY isn't coming to lay down.

I never predict scores. But I do predict New England will win. And, by the way, what was Arlen Specter thinking?
My prediction is a little biased, I guess.

    What did Arlen Specter say?

He's bringing up Spygate again. I think he bet money on the Giants and is trying to distract the Pats. If he was truly serious and wasn't grandstanding, why wouldn't he wait until after the game. He's also calling into question their 2004 win over the Eagles.
The thing that strikes me is no one is jumping on his bandwagon because all the teams are guilty of using the same or similar tactics.
What he doesn't realize is, he just gave the Pats more motivation. And yes, spygate was a factor all year long. They had to prove they could win without the usual sideline games. And they did.
Make sure it's a factor in your wager if you're betting on either team.

Well, they've pretty much proved they can win under any conditions.

    Well, I blew that prediction.

You and the rest of the free world! Ah well, there's always next year!
