Is The Federal Reserve a Failure?

I received an email stating the readers that come here might find this article interesting.

I've had my reservations (no pun intended) about the Fed for years, ever since I read Milton Friedman's (I think it was Friedman) work about the Fed's complicity in government manipulation of money suppy in the 30s which could have caused the Great Depression.

Mike, I am rather surprised this link, this seems like a lame article written by and for kindergartners.

Now, Howard, how many kindergartners would understand "as merely an extension of its inertial proclivity towards inaction".

Sorry, I'll try to set my standards higher next time.

Mike, your standards are plenty high, I just thought the article was lame. Were they quoting Greenspan with that phrase, he enjoys that kind of garbled language.

Greenspan is the master of garble.
