Dear Enlightened Offspring Of Daddy Warbucks, Please Create A Special Real Estate Company

This goes out to all you brave investors out there with plenty of money who are interested in futurisitc real estate as an investment. Create a Super Site, make it the online face of a million points of light, connected Super Teams around the world. Hire the best Super Geeks money will provide and create the Google of real estate. Create the greatest RE vertical search known to man, with every tool, gizmo and gadget imaginable. Call it Zedeck, Amaethon, Kari, Lares, Auraka, some god-like name that reaches for heaven.

The goal? To create the greatest online/offline RE service provider in the world.

The purpose? To transform the RE industry so that RE services are so excellent, so comprehensive and so inexpensive only masochists will refuse you.

How? By using biz 2.0 and SOA to its fullest extent so that every burp in the industry is heard, measured and transmitted immediately - by creating service teams connected throughout the country, the world, dedicated to providing excellent service and the most valid, personalized information possible.

I can't conceive where to start. I don't think a half-assed attempt in a few choice areas would work -- it would take a huge investment and a gigantic implementation. I doubt anyone has the confidence to dive into such an undertaking, but just speculating and imagining, I think at this point, if a company DID create something like this, it would blindside a confused industry in transition and capture the consumers' imagination.

A company like this would most likely have its pick of local talent. Another big obstacle would be the creation of a website that is sophisticated enough to challenge the present players for traffic, but with enough talent and enough marketing, it would create a buzz that might spread like wildfire if the image is consumer-centric and billed as a true revolution in real estate -- Redfin on Steroids that is going national in one big swoop and swoosh.

The devil is always in the details, but it's fun to imagine what might happen. "Zedeck is coming to town and they're offering salary and bonus to qualified agents!" "It's a super team concept with national tech support and training." "They have an online website that's awesome, it's attracting consumers from all over!" "They're billing themselves as the New Real Estate company and they seem to be the real thing!" "They've attracted a mountain of investment money and they're hiring some of the best tech and RE people in the country." "Did you see their new ad? Pretty slick, huh?" "How are they offering services for that amount, what's the trick?" "I checked them out and their model makes sense."

Viral, word-of-mouth, huge, innovative, bold, consumer-centric, politically appealing, authenic, value-conscious, team oriented, modern, 2.5 and climbing, technology-focused, informative, honest players in the Land of The Free.

    Who knows?

More later (like a couple of days later -- I have to go scrunch out a living)
