This site is about libertarian ideas, politics, economics, government, freedom, property rights, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in minimal government, or no government if it would work -- this blog explains why.

    There'll be no Microhoo afterall

    http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/145471/microsoft_abandons_yahoo_acquisition.html

I'll be interested to see this great transition. Just about everyone writing on the matter proclaimed the takeover a done deal -- I am glad to see Yahoo resist it. Perhaps now they'll have the momentum to do something special -- and it appears whatever it is, Google will be a part of it.

If I'm correct that Google played a major role in the reversal, it won't be the first time Google has thwarted Microsoft with a monkeywrench.
