Real Estate Madness: Finding the happy spot

serenity.jpgLately I've been holding out bringing anyone else on board. I'm waiting until I find the right person. However, in the meantime, it's getting goose-wild in my world.

I have started using a little trick I taught myself a few years back that helps me get centered in the madness. I have a keyword (it's private, but any word of significance to you will work) and when I'm in the middle of ten top priorities at once with cell phone ringing and 30 emails to address, I say the word, close my eyes and sink into the happy spot.

The happy spot is a space where what's important rises to the surface and the other "stuff" loses it's vice-like grip on my mind. It's a silly trick but it works. I've used it a lot lately.

Oh, and what rises to the top is hardly ever the immediate top ten priorities or phone call or emails.
