Facebook makes a move: I love competition

I was just thinking the other day how it would be better to have the ability to comment on feeds.
As more and more people use these feeds to disseminate information, and now with comments enabled to make it richer, the stream could be a powerful resource for learning and keeping up to date in a an easy to access, interactive fashion.

Also, I just read this -- http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/salesforce_lessons.php
The significant part to me is this: --
"Michael: What about compliance and security and is anything Salesforce.com can do to get apps to go viral.
Harris: We want to have a directory where people can go find pages quickly. Free pricing models are one way to drive a viral model. We are looking at ways how to work with Facebook. We are looking to involve developers more."

These types of practical, business partnerships will one day create an awesome synergy. I have a gut feeling Facebook will one day be a one-stop business solution, not just a social site. As they mature and their college-user base matures, Facebook will expand it's usefulness for business applications.
