    Small business destruction

If we continue in the progressive direction we're going, eventually small businesses will be too burdened to continue. Healthcare reform in its present offering is another burden placed on small businesses -- plus, mounting debt has to be paid down at some point, and small business owners will be hurt the most by even higher taxes on top of the healthcare burden.

With unemployment growing, small business growth is the answer to recovery, yet the administration and congress continue to support large corporations at the expense of small business owners. As large corporations and government become more entwined, a two-tier system is created, with small business being on the lower tier in what used to be the free market -- small businesses are being squeezed while large corporations are being favored by government - becoming a part of government in many ways - so that we're reaching a point where rather than having open competition, small businesses are being forced to subsidize large corporations -- this will destroy small businesses and protect large corporations from competition.

As government squeezes money from all the remaining sources, and as small businesses are closed, as unemployment rises, and as large corporations become more wasteful and incompetent and dependent on government for support, revenue sources will dry up as the cost of government rises. This doesn't factor in two wars, a continued housing slump, commercial real estate and cap and trade. This doesn't end good.

On the bright side -- this can all be turned around, because it's not too late, yet. How much longer will we listen to the anti-capitalists? Not long, not long. People are getting enough, and it's time to release the energy. There's no more important concerns right now than to end the two wars, remove progressives and statists of both parties from power and release the energy of the free market.

I will continue banging my drum.

    Hi Alan,
Having read your post, it seems that healthcare is about to become more expensive. If this is what is going to happen, is there anything that we can do?

Just cut your expenses whereever you can.

I keep listining to all the retoric, but it is like sending sounds into outer space. You keep hoping, but knowbody who can do anything wants to listen. America was based on people helping people, but all we have is people helping themselves. I'm sick of hearing cut corners, The only corner left to cut is walking away from a lifetime dream. And to old to change, and a goverment that has spent all the money we have put to get us through the rest of our lives. They spent up all our money to fill there own coffers. And handing us a line of bull that it is us. The media is run by our goverment, and say what they are told to say. Like how great the economy is doing, BULL the truth is over half of Americans are out of work. They have just come of the rolls.

The American dream has been stole right out from under us. If your wealthy out there, and you hear this, and don't help, HOW CAN YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT. This is Shark Tank. THIS IS REAL. The goverment this is a good time to start up a business, BULL. I have a large inventory in a new store. and equity in a little $60,000 almost paid off, And I have tried everything, and can't find one bit of hep NOWHERES, and GOD knows I have tried. If it isn't the goverment trying to destroy you, Itt's the local rich people who can't anybody else being succesfull. They think they are creating the modern slaves to do there bidding for nothing, and they think they deserve it.

I didn't think it would ever get to this, BUT I HAVE HAD IT. Even what I have the rich sit around like vultures waiting for you to give up so they can get all you have for nothing, and sy that is business. WHats worst is they are the religious people who know better, and really think they are doing GODS Will. I wonder what GOD they are serving. I'm trying not to get bitter, but I can't do it no more, I have had two businesses taken right out from under me, And am to old to rebound. I'M trying, but I'm not making it this time. And I have a college education. I WISH LIKE GOD DID BEFORE MOSES,I COULD FIND ONE PERSON IN THIS WORLD WHO GENUALLY CARES. All these grants out there are for non profits and minority. I PROUD TO BE IN THE MAJORITY WHO ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS I AM!

SOMEBODY OUT THERE BE HONEST AND CONTINUE THIS COVERSATION, WE NEED TO TAKE AMERICA BACK. AMERICA IS BY THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!
