    Our leaders tell bald-faced lies

    Thanks to Cafe Hayek for this link. What Taylor writes makes sense. I suspect we will be see the truth in the months to come, but it makes you wonder about the condition of government in our country.

    We have grown accustomed to politicians, even our President, lying to us. How can we ever get good information from government if the accepted game is built on dishonesty? This is something that has to be dealt with -- we can no longer afford bad information in the Information Age coming from those who represent us in government -- the stakes are too high. And if we need to simply ignore them, then why are we electing them?
