Win or lose -- let's hear it for Hoffman!

Today will be an interesting day. I am pulling for Hoffman to come away with a huge victory -- so far, from what I've heard from him, he's exactly what this country needs -- someone honest who understands business and understands the danger of a voracious government.

 

Of course, the other side is already downplaying the election and claiming that the conservatives are short-sighted, that they will set themselves up for failure in 2010 because of their arrogance. Oh, shut up. Drop all the political spinning and phony posturing. Get real and enjoy the moment.

 

Who could possibly think Hoffman will not be good for NY-23 and the country? The guy's solid -- give it up and congratulate the fella, he's come a long way and represents what makes America special. Every once in while we need to remember that freedom of opportunity is a great thing, and that we don't cotton very well to plutocracies and other -cracies. In America, any damn thing can happen.
