    The rumor of the Sun Belt's demise is greatly exaggerated

    Yes, there has been a slowdown, but we're only talking about a couple of years -- however, one big reason you don't see streams of moving vans heading out of the northeast and mid-west is that government is forcing us to pay for workers to stay where they're at -- when GM and Chrysler are no longer supported by government, you might see the move to the sun heat up again.

    Regardless, the long term prospects of growth look promising.

    But no MSNBC stories about how you can't find a job in a Midwest state, or California?

    People are fleeing the Midwest as fast as they can.
