This site is about libertarian ideas, politics, economics, government, freedom, property rights, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in minimal government, or no government if it would work -- this blog explains why.

Oh joy, we're making a profit! Not

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32623489/ns/business-the_new_york_times/

This is one of the funniest articles I've read lately. Some banks are paying back the loans from the baliout and they are claiming we're making a profit, but then they quickly skim over the possibility of big losses from AIG and Fannie and Freddie, not giving the possible amount -- then they go back to what a pleasant surprise the "profits" have turned out to be.

I think they'd better wait until all is said and done before they break out the champagne.
