What an admission!
Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 07:41PM Let's allow this to sink in for awhile. Some of us knew from the beginning and we were criticized for saying so. Obama and the Democrats and the media were lying to the American people about the benefits of the stimulus. Some people will say -- Big deal, politicians are lying, what's new?
This attitude will kill us, especially when we're talking about 800 billion dollars. Where did the money go? If they knew, and if David Brooks knew, that there were no shovel-ready projects, why did they lie over and over and over? Because government is corrupt -- totally corrupt. And Democrat supporters are suckers. Because Brooks is a suck-up coward. If this just slides by, we'll know that America is already in submissive weakness and doesn't have the courage and strength to be independent.
The lies and manipulations during the Clinton and Bush years, now an escalation of lies and manipulation -- this is enough to abolish the government we have and start over.
