This site is about libertarian ideas, politics, economics, government, freedom, property rights, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in minimal government, or no government if it would work -- this blog explains why.

    Liberal hypocrisy

Obama calls Republicans the "enemies" and says they will have to "sit in the back" as his supporters accuse Republicans of being harshly partisan. Nonpartisanship to liberals means going along with their policies and refraining from offering different ideas. Oh, they might be okay with the offering of ideas, as long as the Republicans don't push them as if they really believe the ideas are better.

Liberals have a strange belief that liberal ideas are the only true ideas, and the ideas which are best for all concerned. They believe their ideas are the antidote to the wrong ideas that have caused the "failed policies of the past". Liberals had no appetite for compromise while cramming healthcare through, because they believe their core ideas are critical to America's future. The Republicans, who believe their ideas are critical to the future, are obstructing, according to the liberals, what's best for the future.

What liberals fail to do is consider all the ideas presented. Liberals use emotional appeals to present their ideas and smear their opponents' ideas, they don't use reason to establish the validity of their ideas or to show why the ideas they reject are invalid. And when research predicts the consequences of their policies, they divert attention by increasing the smear campaign against the messengers of the bad news. We are witnessing a combination of Orwell, Kubrick and Heller as liberals create their own reality and expect everyone to believe it's real. They psychologize the actions of their "enemies" while failing to go through any self-analysis.
