    Memorial Day -- in memory of sacrifice

    I would like to take this opportunity to express my desire that we all understand the magnitude of the sacrifices made by soldiers and to never ask for this sacrifice unless we've exhausted every other means of resolution.

    My heart goes out to all the families who've experienced loss of a loved one in service.
