Here's an Atlantic article from James Warren about Washington DC's frustrated Fat Cats who get their just reward in the end, and don't do too badly in salary while they're waiting to cash in. It's a great system is it not? There's no need to wonder why Washington DC is such a bustling city -- all those servants doing the people's work for such modest pay -- it warms the heart.

I was just sying at another site, that snarkiness is not a good tool to use when discussing serious problems, so I will stop with the snark and start addressing these problems head on -- although, my last sentence above stands.
