If Ezra Klein and progressives really believe what they say

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klein/post/how-default-would-harm-homeowners-cities-businesses-and-everyone-else/2011/07/11/gIQAELwVGI_blog.html?wprss=ezra-klein

they would be urgently calling on Obama to drop his unreasonable demand for tax hikes through the guise of "revenue enhancers" in the middle of a recession with high unemployment, especially when they know the House will never vote for taking more money out of the private sector and giving it to government to spend at this point in time. Obama and progressives like Klein can always find ways to steal more money from the private sector later, but if even the scare of default is enough to create havoc in every nook and cranny of American life and economic activity, then they should plead with Obama to stop this insane bluff. Could it be that Klein is strengthening the bluff and doesn't believe his own words?

One of Klein's commenters proverbially hit the proverbial nail on the proverbial head -- the commenter said that what Klein describes is a good case for limited government. A-freaking-men. Liberals, progressives and moderates aren't accustomed to being called on their propaganda -- the narrative is falling apart.
