Democrat senators obstruct debt ceiling negotiations

    http://hotair.com/archives/2011/07/27/all-53-senate-dems-sign-letter-to-boehner-your-bill-will-never-pass/

Never let a good crisis go to waste. It's obvious that Obama and Democrats have been pushing this debt ceiling debate to the brink -- Obama might even go for the 14th Amendment solution in a show that places him in a lone position of saving the day from the extremists. No one has seriously challenged his unilateral actions in Libya, so, why not? Let's get the crown ready and make it official. Who knows what games are being played, but when you're negotiating and seeking compromise you don't slap the other side in the face before they even present the offer. The Republican establishment is responsible for pulling support from the limited government conservatives -- now Democrats know they have the upper hand, and that enough Republicans will cave -- so no compromise is needed, afterall. In the end, it was the Democrats obstructing a joint solution all along.
