    What this site's about

This site is about libertarian ideas, politics, economics, government, freedom, property rights, entrepreneurship, innovation, objectivty and other such stuff important to humans. I uphold libertarian principles and believe wholeheartedly in minimal government, or no government if it would work -- this blog explains why.

Free speech rights were not violated

    http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/331314/when-political-speech-comes-under-fire-john-fund

John Fund claims that in Ohio free speech rights are violated because liberal groups pressured a private ad company to take down signs that the liberal groups find offensive. If the state or local government had forced the removal of the signs, Fund would have a point, but the liberal groups excercised their rights to free speech and pressured Clear Channel to remove its signs. Clear Channel is weak for having done so, but it's not a violation of free speech. Groups and individuals who support the signs should have applied as much pressure to keep the signs up, but they didn't.
