    President's speech on gun taskforce

During his press conference today regarding creation of a gun taskforce headed by Joe Biden, Obama shamelessly exploited the Newtown tragedy by asking Congress to use this time to put things in perspective and go along with his proposal to raise taxes. It's bad enough he's creating a taskforce on guns before the bodies are buried, but to use these deaths as a way to raise taxes is abhorable.

Obama said that Republicans can fight him later but now they should go along and give him what he wants. Obama said that Republicans oppose him because they are afraid of a Tea Party reaction -- he didn't acknowledge that Republicans actually believe their position.

This is incredible, and I don't yet hear any news reporters mentioning how Obama is exploiting the deaths of 27 people for political reasons.
