    This is why I have hope in the New Republicans

    I'm not a Republican. I'm a true independent. I haven't been able to trust either party, but I'm not a waffling Centrist trying to have it both ways. I've given up completely on the Democrat Party, and I think Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Sheila Jackson Lee, Obama and practically every other Democrat in power are dangerous, and their policies/ideology/statism have put our country at risk of financial collapse.

    Republicans like George Bush and Mitch McConnell have been guilty of over-spending and war-mongering, but in all of DC, there are a handful of New Republicans who are trying to rollback the statist interventions which have brought us to the brink of collapse and loss of liberty.

    Everyone who considers themselves a lover of freedom and an adherent of our Constitution, especially as it relates to limits on government power, should praise the efforts of these Republicans and encourage Democrats to support these plans.
