    Obama has gone too far

I'm not going to dig up a bunch of facts to dispute Obama's claim today that his spending has been the lowest rate in a long time. Anyone can go to government sites that report spending from year to year to find the real numbers. Also, I know the word Owellian is cliched, but if there was ever a good place to use it, it's here.

I've often given Obama the benefit of the doubt and said that Bush and other Presidents before Obama have all presided over statist waste and economy killing interventionism, but I can no longer give Obama any credit. Obama is a liar, and it's dangerous for our nation. These kind of lies speak loudly to the character of a person, and no matter which Presidents have lied before, it doesn't excuse Obama's lies, and he promised to be different.

Obama, whether he's reelected or not, will have to live with his lies, and this is one of the most brazen and insulting. This type of lie is bound to back fire. I refuse to believe the majority of the American people are stupid -- maybe a few will believe this lie, but the majority, if they are paying attention, have to be shaking their heads in amazed disbelief.
