It's not a pledge to Grover Norquist
Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 06:39PM Even Republicans like Jeb Bush and Lindsay Graham are playing the Left's game of singling out and demonizing an individual, as if grover Norquist has some strange hold over all Republicans in congress. Those who signed the no new taxes pledge pledged to a principle which is supported by millions of Americans, not to Grover Norquist.
Jeb Bush is ready to make the same mistake his father made -- accept tax cuts for empty promises to cut spending in the future. Why? Bush said this shows he's not running for anything. It shows he's running for something -- President in 2016. Bush is hoping to be the Centrist pick for President in 2016. Bush and the GOP Centrists will sabotage all efforts by limited government advocates on the Right so that they, the Centrists, can come back in 2016 and continue the two-party dance with Democrats which has gone on for decades.
There's a real effort underway to dismantle the two-party, statist system which has a stranglehold on the economy. This two-party, statist system has centrally managed the economy for a long time, and it's almost collapsed the economy. The American people have to understand the difference and not fall for the smear campaign to marginalize the limited government effort as extremists. The limited government effort is designed to release the power of the private sector, to increase employment and to start creating new wealth once more in America rather than government-generated bubbles.
