Democratic Party mendacity regarding GM bailout: It's incredible

    http://nlpc.org/stories/2012/07/05/gm%E2%80%99s-government-sales-and-truck-inventory-rise

    http://nlpc.org/stories/2012/06/22/over-hyped-gm-pension-move-doesn%E2%80%99t-help-liability-problem

It's criminal actually. Surely you've heard Obama, spokespeople for the Democratic Party, pundits and "journalists" praise the auto bailout. Obama is depending heavily on the lies surrounding the auto bailout. The reality is that taxpayers are at more risk of losing tens of billions of dollars now than before. Just like GM tried to fool everyone concerned regarding its financial health before it went bankrupt, it's still attempting to fool everyone, but now it has government and media helping with the lies and coverups. Imagine -- our President has built a large part of his campaign on lies that are backed by the media and ignored by both parties in government. "Journalists" are avoiding this story.

I don't hear anyone in the political class in DC telling the truth about GM, about it cooking the sales numbers, misleading small investors regarding the soundness of the stock, the subsidies from government, the problem that still exists with unfunded pension liabilities that'll come crashing down after the election. When this story is finally told, after the subprime auto loans explode along with the pension problems and the underlying unsoundness of GM's financial foundation and the manipulations by government and media to fool the public, it will shock most of the country who've only heard praise regarding the auto bailout, how Obama saved the auto industry. My God, how sick has America become?
