Throwing money down a black Greek hole

    http://www.siasat.com/english/news/greece-secures-biggest-debt-deal-history

Through the IMF the US is throwing away billions it doesn't have. Greece will not repay these loans. The Greek people have shown no willingness to abide by the austerity measures necessary to build their economy.

In the meanwhile, Britain is making plans -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-17295461

Bailouts and spending cuts are temporary solutions

    http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/09/9328603-euro-pact-is-a-great-leap-sideways

It amazes me that all the analyses of EU financial problems revolve around where the money will come from to bailout and float the failing countries or get them to spend less, when there's no hope for these countries until they can figure out how to grow economically and create new wealth.

The black hole of Fannie Mae

    http://hotair.com/archives/2011/08/05/fannie-mae-asks-for-another-5-1-billion-in-bailout-cash/

Above is an atical from Hotair related to the latest request from Fannie Mae to the taxpayers for more bailout money.

In 2008 when the financial/housing crisis was blooming, I wrote this. Over three long years later, nothing has been done except government has made the situation worse. This is one of the biggest government coverups in history. Perhaps Fast and Furious will be bigger when all is said and done, or perhaps the Fed will capture the Biggest Coverup in American history when they are finally brought to light, but Fannie and Freddie will rank right there with them.

    GM failure and government lies

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/watercooler/2011/mar/31/barack-obama-losing-84-billion-big-success/

This is just another example of how we're lied to and manipulated by government officials, even by our President, over and over. This can no longer be brushed aside in a cynical swipe, excusing it as political gamesmanship. This is serious business when our government is on the verge of financial collapse.

I've listened to statist defenders of government in general and Obama defenders in particular, but their defense is no longer credible. The evidence of corruption in government is too overwhelming. On a daily basis we hear news reports contradicting what government officials have stated -- if this is going to be an Orwellian world, then they'd better dispense some good mind control medicine, because straight up the manipulation is not working.

    The suicidal west

When peple accuse Bush of starting the policies which everyone is so upset about, what are they saying? They're saying that Bush became a statist and turned his back on his limited government promises. Why Democrats continue to use Bush's statist policies as a defense of he-started-it, I don't know, because what they are saying is the same statism that started the problems are being continued.

The west, where the economic situation is beyond terrible because of statist policies on steroids, has decided to continue their statist direction with Jerry Brown, Barbara Boxer in Calif. and Harry Reid in Nevada. It looks like the Restoring Sanity rally failed miserably in the west, because this is absolute insanity.

Republicans should start off by declaring they will fight to their death against a California bailout. What can Nevada and California possibly be thinkng?
