A bright spot on Morning Joe -- GQ mag

I understand how politically incorrect GQ mag is with modern liberals and ascetics of all stripes. I never read the mag, actually, but only because I don't have a metro-male need to be on the cutting edge of style.

On Morning Joe today they had on a GQ rep who discussed the current issue which highlights a list of American creations that are unique and superior, such as blockbuster movies, mobile food preparation, parking lots. Some of this is whimsical, but then that's the point I take from it. These items on the list speak to the relative freedom we still enjoy and how freedom allows the odd, the quirky and also the revolutionary.

There are very good reasons to celebrate liberty and to diligently work toward the establishment and protection of free market principles, and there are good reasons to reject the current statist domination of interventionist government. Statism kills liberty and the innovative spirit that allows the quirky and revolutionary to arise.

Americans should be constantly aware of the orgination of the many wonderful things we enjoy which arise only in a society where liberty and free enterprise are prime values. And, the cover of GQ was of prime value to someone like myself who appreciates scantily-clad beauty. God bless America. How politically incorrect can you get? I love it.
