Morning Joe 6/19/2012 -- Obama pulls ahead with Latino trick!

Joe and Mika weren't there this morning, so Willie and Barnicle had to host the show. I think something is up behind the Morning Joe scene. I know the ratings suck, so that might be it. Comcast is the new boss, so they might have other plans. Probably, the only viewers are idiots like me who are up early and want to see how dysfunctional the political class can become. Right when you they can't be any more dysfunctional, they are.

This morning the strategy was to make a big deal of Obama's Latino Trick which bypassed congress and is no doubt unconstitutional, but as Elijah Cummings said, it was the right thing to do. As long as Elijah and the President and others on Left think it's a good thing to do, and if congress is not going to act, then, yes, the President should act like a dictator -- duh!

The whole conversation this morning, with Howard Dean calling it a bona fide game changer, but golly -- yeeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhh! -- was in praise of Obama making a comeback that could sink the GOP for good -- yes, for good. Everytime I see Dean I think about how close the nation came to a President Dean and it sends shivers up my spine. But we might have a series of President Deans if the Leftists on Morning Joe are right. The panel said that the hispanic population is growing, and if Romney can't do anything to trick them into voting for him, they will decide the election. The panel says there is nothing Romney or Republicans can do -- the GOP has lost the hispanic vote. According to the panel, then, all future presidents will be Democrats. But what about the gains made by the GOP in 2010?

Do hispanics not vote in congressional elections? Do hispanics not care about Republican governors? Have the demographics changed so drastically in two years? There are so many questions. Like, what about successful hispanics -- will they vote for Democrats if their taxes are going to go higher and their businesses are strangled by regulations? Do all hispanics vote as a solid group with one political mind?

If hispanics are concerned only with advancing their group, and they will decide all future elections, then they will vote in hispanic representatives and all whites and African-Americans and Asians will suffer. But, Asians are growing faster than hispanics, so what do we make of that? What alliances will be formed if politics becomes a race game? Or, will it become a class game, or special interest game? The Morning Joe crew is simply thrilled with Obama's Latino Trick, singling out an age group within a race, within a legal status, and favoring this group over other groups. What about hispanics who are between 30 and 38? Between 13 ans 16? Does it really matter, if there are no jobs? Can this protected group receive welfare? How long will it take for the 30 to 40 yr old group to demand the same status?

Obama didn't think this unilateral move through to the consequences -- he only saw that it polls well. It's really a serious matter when Americans have no problem with a President taking on the powers taken on by current presidents. This is not a direction in which we want to head. But this is just sour grapes, according to the Morning Joe crew -- Obama dissed Romney and the GOP and by golly that's all that matters. A real game changer, I tell ya.

My summary: The Democratic Party is desperate, and they will start pandering to special interest groups, and, in the Information Age, this will turn the majority of Americans against the Democratic Party -- the majority, brown, black, yellow and white, have had enough of political parties using their hard-earned money to play political games for political purposes when the economy is spiralling down a huge toilet.
