Morning Joe 4/13/2012 -- But, but, what about Allen West?

Joe Scarborough showed his true colors this morning. The topic was Hilary Rosen saying Ann Romney knows nothing about the struggles of women because she "hasn't worked a day in her life." This comment caused the Whitehouse to quickly distance themselves from the comment. It's been reported that Rosen has visited the WH over thirty times and met with the President on more than a couple of occasions. Media outlets are making a lot of the comment, although liberals are claiming it's really no big deal, that Rosen is just a talking head and doesn't represent the views of liberals, even though Hilary Clinton and John Kerry's wife made similar disparaging comments regarding stay at home moms, especially Republican stay at home moms. There were also lots of demeaning comments from liberals toward Sarah Palin regarding this issue of GOP moms with strong family values.

Not only self-proclaimed liberals are dismissing Rosen's comments as no big deal -- the liberal in denial, Joe Scarborough, also said it's not a big deal, that he is good friends with Hilary Rosen, and that he also has visited the WH under Obama over 30 times and has met with the president -- what's the big deal? Obama distanced himself, so what's the fuss all about. Scarborough took it further and implied Romney is a hypocrit because he hasn't distanced himself from Allen West's comments reagrding up to 81 communists in congress. Peggy Noonan was on Morning Joe, and she said Joe is looking for trouble by connecting the two.

I could write for another thirty minutes listing all the over-the-top accusations liberal congresspeople have made about Republicans as racists, nazis, and accusing them of wanting the old, young and sick to suffer, and, recently, that the GOP is actively waging War against women. Has Obama distanced himself from each of these comments? Have any Democrats distanced themselves from the comments? No. Maxine Waters, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi -- they've all made over the top claims. Even Obama has made over the top claims against Republicans, accusing them of social darwinism, which is accusing them of not caring if people suffer and die, and actually promoting policies that lead to suffering and death. Scarborough is off mark -- he's the hypocrit, and it's not surprising since he's been to the WH over 30 times.

I've often wondered how a person who calls themselves a libertarian-leaning conservative can work for MSNBC, but now I know. I've always suspected Scarborough maintains the modern liberal mideset, but now there is no doubt. Scarborough is a phony, acting as if he's counter to the parade of liberals on Morning Joe, but he's simply one of them. It's very dishonest.
