    Obama's war on speculators

    http://cafehayek.com/2012/04/a-banana-republic-unless-you-can-avoid-it.html

It's important to understand how dishonest or ignorant Obama has become on the issue of oil and gas prices and the issues of supply and consumption. Obama repeats the same untruths over and over, but no matter how many times he states the untruths they will not become true. Telling an untruth 50 times doesn't make it true, regardless of what you've been told by machiavellians.

Leave the oil market to market forces not regulators

    http://economywatch.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/17/11246689-obamas-oil-market-plan-more-politics-than-substance?lite

The reason a Mixed Economy doesn't work is that the State grabs more and more power and control as time goes by, despite periodic attempts to beat the State back. Obama's announcement today that he will regulate speculation more tightly is not good news. This administration tries one political gimmick after another because they have no idea what else to do. I suppose to some potential voters this trick announced today will seem like a proactive attack on rich bastards who manipulate markets to the detriment of poor people, but how many people really fall for these tricks? Tell me not many.

The EU is being destroyed by its own foundation

Believe me, I'm not expert on international finance, or the EU, but I can "speculate". Sarkozy says that the European leaders will not allow speculators to undermine what Europe has built. I'm sorry, but it's not speculators who are unmining the EU, it's the reckless spending and unsustainable entitlements -- it's anti-capitalism that has the EU in trouble. The speculators are reacting to reality -- the European leaders are asking everyone to believe another fantasy. Reality always wins.
