For a couple of years I've been prowling about the internet looking for the right place in which to write. It seemed reasonable that to get exposure, a large established site would be the best bet. However, large and busy became like writing graffiti on a crowded subway wall.
Off and on the idea of creating a private site was appealing, but the problem of committment had to be resolved. Finally, I've made the committment.
The purpose of Bonzai is to write. Love of writing is the main motivation. But like for all writers, readership and input is important. The hope and intent is to create something interesting and entertaining in regards to the broad subject of real estate that will tweak the imagination of readers and make a somewhat dry subject pleasurable and informative enough to subscribe to and return to.
Real estate touches on a whole host of subjects, such as economics, politics, marketing, sales, technology, construction, even humor -- and then there's the subject of the transition to the internet, which is a quickly evolving, limitless source of interest.
You won't find a lot of images, videos, flashes or whirlagigs here, just thoughts and feelings in writing.
This a small bonzai among giant oaks and redwoods, but hopefully it'll be interesting and useful. I know the correct spelling is "bonsai", but I like the letter "z".
